Digital products

Products are delivered as digital files, such as PDF or EPUB files. A purchase does not include a printed book or any mailed item unless a product page expressly says otherwise.

Payment and checkout

Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment platform. It handles payment, receipts, and digital delivery. The terms and privacy practices shown during checkout also apply.

One-time purchase

The Nightstand does not sell a subscription through this offer. There is no recurring charge. Any future recurring offer would require its own clear terms and your separate agreement.

Personal-use license

Your purchase gives you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the digital files for your own personal use. You may print a copy for yourself. You may not resell, republish, share publicly, upload, distribute, or create a competing product from the files.

Educational scope

The material is educational and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for individualized care. The books explain their own scope and limitations. The Nightstand and The Nightstand do not guarantee sleep duration, symptom improvement, or any other outcome.

Accuracy and revisions

We work to keep the material accurate through the data-cutoff date printed in each product. Research and best practices can change. We may correct or revise a digital product when needed.

Refunds

The refund policy is part of these terms. You may request a refund within 30 days of purchase. No questions are required, and you keep the files. Read the full refund policy.

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use its content in a way that violates law or another person's rights.

Intellectual property

The site, books, writing, cover designs, graphics, and brand materials are owned by The Nightstand or used with permission. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material.

We may update, correct, or temporarily suspend the site. We cannot promise uninterrupted access to the website or to third-party checkout and delivery services.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Nightstand is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the site or educational material. Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

North Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in a court with lawful jurisdiction in North Carolina.
